Four Brothers

I don't know what it is about this movie. It just gets me every time. The Four Brothers are Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin, and Garrett Hedlund. Its an unusual bunch but they make it work. Brilliant casting. You can watch the trailer here, but the tagline says it all.

I downloaded this movie back when Bhai and I were brand new fans of Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese Gibson. I didn't really expect a good movie, but I was blown away. Since then every few months I'll pull it out, watch it, cry over it, and come away feeling fiercely loyal to my family. That's what makes a movie for me.

By the way, Garrett Hedlund deserves special mention. His portrayal of Jack Mercer pulls the rug out from under my feet everytime.
